WHAT IS THIS CAJUN ALFREDO SAUCE RECIPE?
Let’s discuss what Alfredo sauce is just a bit before getting into Cajun Alfredo sauce.
Alfredo sauce is a popular thick creamy sauce that we all know and love ❤.
Made with garlic, butter, heavy cream, Parmesan cheese plus some herbs and spices, it’s one of the most delicious sauces in the world.
An interesting fact is that this can’t be called the original Alfredo sauce though.
The classic Alfredo sauce originated in Italy and was made using loads of butter, Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese and pasta water. That’s all!
Only three ingredients to make a thick rich cream sauce.
Today though, there are lots of versions of Alfredo sauce made using many different ingredients and methods and served in a variety of interesting ways.
One thing is always constant though.
However you make Alfredo sauce, it almost always tastes magical. It’s one of the most incredible sauces ever.
And my creamy Cajun Alfredo sauce recipe is another variation of the already famous Alfredo sauce.
Add some Cajun seasoning and you get a sauce that’s incredible with a hint of spice.
Cajun Alfredo sauce is super popular out there today.
And for good reason!
You mix that creaminess of Alfredo sauce with Cajun seasoning, a spicy garlicky herby spice mix and it gives you a warm creamy sauce with a hint of spice.
It’s incredible ⭐. Tastes absolutely dreamy…
This delicious garlicky sauce with that gorgeous creamy consistency can be served in so many different ways.
I’m sharing this recipe with you so you can have a super simple sauce you can whip up to serve with whatever you prefer… fresh drained pasta, rice, pizza… Maybe topped over some fried chicken or baked salmon too, as crazy as that sounds. I just know it’ll taste so good!
You can share your stories with this recipe in the comments below too whether this is the first time you’re trying this recipe or if you’ve already had it multiple times before, I would love to hear all about it!
I’ve also cut down on a few ingredients and cooking steps without sacrificing the flavor to make this Cajun Alfredo recipe even easier for you.
This is one of the best cream sauces ever and I hope you love it as much as we do ❤.
INGREDIENTS & SUBSTITUTIONS FOR CAJUN ALFREDO SAUCE RECIPE
For full ingredients and measurements, please scroll down to the Recipe Card.
- Unsalted butter- We use some butter to get that butter garlic flavor. It’ll add so much depth and flavor to our creamy sauce! Butter does so much in our creamy Alfredo sauce. It makes the sauce silky, rich, creamy and just… lush. Go ahead and use unsalted butter. Please don’t use salted butter here. That’s because we’ll be getting our salt from many other ingredients!
- Garlic- One of my most favorite ingredients ever. Smash and mince your garlic to get all those garlicky flavors out. Yum!
- Chicken broth- An ingredient I feel is pretty essential when making some homemade Alfredo sauce. Chicken broth adds so much depth and flavor to our creamy sauce. There’s just something about a hint of chicken-y flavor that makes our spicy Alfredo sauce just… so much better. You can substitute with chicken bouillon concentrate mixed with water, a chicken bouillon cube dissolved in water (use half a cube or a whole cube depending on how much flavor you prefer!), chicken stock, beef broth, vegetable broth or even seafood broth.
- Cajun seasoning- A super delicious spice blend of Cajun spices (very popular in Cajun Cuisine). You can use store-bought Cajun seasoning. If you cannot use store-bought Cajun seasoning, go ahead and mix the Cajun spices at home to make your own Cajun seasoning. This seasoning is usually made with cayenne pepper, paprika, black pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, salt and some dried herbs such as thyme and oregano. One again, you can substitute with homemade Cajun or maybe even Creole seasonings if you cannot or don’t prefer to use store bought Cajun seasoning..
- Heavy cream- Pour that creamy soft heavy cream into our Cajun butter garlic mixture to get the most incredible creamy as heck homemade Alfredo sauce in the whole world 🤩. Heavy cream adds all that creamy rich indulgent goodness here. YUM! I would always suggest heavy cream but you can substitute with half and half, light cream or coconut milk or cream here.
- Parmesan cheese- That deep rich flavor of Parmesan cheese adds a whole other flavor to our homemade Alfredo sauce. This gorgeously delicious cheese is not called “The King of Cheeses” for nothing ❤. Always use a fresh block of Parmesan cheese. Please don’t use pre-grated Parmesan cheese. It doesn’t melt like fresh Parmesan cheese and you’ll be left with a clump of cheese in your creamy Alfredo sauce.
Optional Ingredients:
- Some herb/s (to garnish)– Fresh or dried herb/s such as parsley, basil, tarragon, green onions or chives to add a fresh hint of flavor to our thick creamy sauce.
Once again, for full ingredients and measurements, please scroll down to the Recipe Card.

RECIPE & DIET VARIATIONS YOU CAN TRY
This Cajun Alfredo sauce is just SO good with all that creaminess, garlickiness and Cajun flavors. You’ll want to make it over and over again.
It also goes along super well with so many different dishes and you can add different ingredients to it too. This is a pretty versatile recipe.
Here are a few things you can do with this creamy Alfredo sauce with Cajun spices…
- If you don’t have store-bought Cajun seasoning (a popular seasoning in Cajun cuisine), you can substitute it with homemade Cajun or maybe even Creole seasonings (this will make it milder too!).
- If you’re making some Cajun seasoning at home with common Cajun spices, you can choose what seasoning you prefer more of. You can make it more garlicky, or spicy, maybe even less salty (more onion powder, garlic powder, herbs, salt, cayenne pepper, it’s all your choice!).
- I’ve added about 2 and a half teaspoons of Cajun seasoning to this Cajun cream sauce. You can start with 1 teaspoon if you’re sensitive to heat, add the heavy cream and give it a taste. If you want more, you can continue from there.
- If this creamy Alfredo sauce is too spicy for you, you can always use more cream to cut down on the spice.
- If you want this easy Cajun Alfredo sauce recipe to be even spicier, add more Cajun seasoning or maybe even hot sauce, red chili pepper flakes, cayenne pepper or paprika.
- For a lighter healthier version, you can substitute heavy cream with half and half or light cream here.
- You can also use cream cheese instead of heavy cream if you prefer more thick creaminess in your sauce. Cream cheese helps thicken up your sauce too.
- Go ahead and add any extra cheese you like to this spicy Alfredo sauce. I’ve added Parmesan cheese but you can use Romano, Pecorino Romano… maybe Gruyere…
- To make some dairy-free Cajun Alfredo sauce, go ahead and use extra oil instead of butter, use coconut milk or coconut cream instead of heavy cream and use vegan or dairy-free Parmesan cheese.
- Go ahead and and some onions in the very beginning and caramelize them like I’ve done in this Easy Canned Tuna Pasta Recipe. This will give your Cajun cream sauce a deliciously sweet nutty flavor 😍.
- Add some lemon zest to your creamy sauce for a touch of fresh flavor.
- You can add some veggies to this beloved flourless Alfredo sauce too such as maybe green beans, broccoli (try it with this Homemade Batter Fried Broccoli with Creamy Sauce Recipe), maybe even bell peppers (bell peppers add a lovely flavor here). You can add some sundried tomatoes as well (looking for a creamy tomatoey pasta? Check out our Best Marry Me Chicken Pasta Recipe!).
- Make it a Cajun chicken Alfredo recipe! Just go ahead and season each chicken breast. Gently pan fry the chicken breasts in the skillet, remove and make the sauce. Add the cooked chicken breasts back to the sauce towards the end and serve. You can do the same with shrimp, sausage, fish or veggies, whatever you prefer!
- Don’t add the Cajun spices and let it be a traditional Alfredo sauce. Add some salt and black pepper and serve for a deliciously classic Alfredo sauce.
- Add some al dente pasta to turn this into a 15 minute meal. This Cajun pasta is such an easy dinner idea. It’ll definitely become one of your most favorite dishes!
- To store your sauce and have it some other time, wait for it to come to room temperature. It’s really important to wait for your sauce to reach room temperature. Once it comes to room temperature, transfer it to an airtight container. Then store the airtight container in the fridge. Your Cajun Alfredo sauce will stay good in the refrigerator for about 3-4 days.
Note- If you think you have an ingredient that you feel is suitable as a substitute for a certain ingredient in this recipe, according to your dietary preference, you can use it and let us know how it works as a substitute in the comments below. I’ll then add it in as an adaptation suggestion here. This will help so many others with the same diet preference as yours.
HOW TO MAKE HOMEMADE CAJUN ALFREDO SAUCE RECIPE [Step-by-Step Photos and Instructions]
For exact ingredient measurements and instructions without photos, please scroll down to the Recipe Card.
Please keep in mind that I go into lots of detail in all my recipes so you get to know all the super important tips and tricks when it comes to making a particular recipe. I always want you to make the BEST of whatever you’re cooking ❤.
STEP 1: MAKE THE BUTTER GARLIC
Heat is very important here.
That’s because butter can burn at high heat and heavy cream can split at high heat too.
To keep our sauce incredibly creamy and delish, just follow my instructions and increase or decrease the heat accordingly and you’ll have a deliciously creamy Alfredo sauce in no time ❤!
Now let’s make some creamy Cajun Alfredo sauce!
Take a skillet or a saucepan.
I prefer a skillet for more even cooking. It also helps if I’m adding chicken breasts and/or drained pasta later (to make some Cajun pasta!) to my creamy Alfredo sauce. The large surface helps.
Now, over medium-low heat, add the unsalted butter.
As it starts to melt, add your smashed and minced garlic in.
Gently stir until the garlic flavors infuse into that butter and the garlic starts cooking in all that buttery goodness a little. This will take about 2 to 3 minutes.
Don’t let your garlic brown.
STEP 2: ADD THE BROTH
Now add the broth and raise the heat to medium-high heat to high heat.
Gently stir and let it come to a boil.
Press that garlic into the broth to get more flavor out.
Let the broth reduce a little, not too much. This will take about 3-4 minutes (sometimes even 5 minutes).
We want to get all those chicken flavors out, yum!
STEP 3: ADD THE CAJUN SEASONING AND HEAVY CREAM
Reduce the heat to low and add the Cajun seasoning. I suggest you add only 2 teaspoons here first if you’re really sensitive to heat.
Stir and mix well for about a minute.
Now, make sure the heat is low and pour in the heavy cream.
Gently stir and mix all those flavors together.
And now, raise the heat to medium-low heat and gently stir until your creamy sauce comes to a very gentle slow boil.
This will take about 2 to 3 minutes.
STEP 4: ADD PARMESAN & FINISH COOKING
We’re almost done!
Add your grated Parmesan cheese and continue stirring so it melts super well into your creamy Alfredo sauce.
Cook until the sauce is just a little thinner than your preferred consistency. That’s because, as it cools down, it will thicken even more.
It takes about 2-3 minutes for my Alfredo sauce to reach a consistency I prefer!
Give your Cajun cream sauce a taste, you can add half a teaspoon (or more!) of Cajun seasoning here if you prefer some more spice, just remember to mix it in well.
Serve, garnish with your preferred herbs and enjoy ❤.
How incredible is it with that creamy consistency and rich flavor? So good! I sometimes feel like having it like soup, hehe!

TIPS TO MAKE THE BEST CAJUN ALFREDO SAUCE RECIPE
This Cajun Alfredo sauce with Cajun spice mix is one of the most delicious cream sauces (those creamy cheesy Cajun flavors ❤!) in the whole world.
It’s ready super quick and uses very few ingredients. It’s really easy to make too so there are no complex steps involved to worry about.
But hey, here are a few tips to keep in mind to make things even easier and make this beloved flourless Alfredo sauce even more delish!
- The level of heat is very important in this Cajun white sauce recipe. That’s because butter can burn at high heat and heavy whipping cream can split at high heat too. To keep our sauce creamy and perfect, just follow my instructions and increase or decrease the heat accordingly and you’ll have a deliciously creamy Alfredo sauce every single time!
- Don’t use salted butter here. Your Cajun spice mix, chicken broth and Parmesan cheese are all salty ingredients. Salted butter will just add to the saltiness of this delicious dish. Since Cajun seasoning blends are pretty salty, you can try and use a low salt Cajun spice mix too.
- Oh and smash your garlic then mince it! Smashing the garlic cloves brings out so much delicious garlickiness and works so well with butter every single time ❤.
- If you’re a little sensitive to heat, add only 2 teaspoons (or even less) of Cajun spice mix in Step 3. Then once you finish adding Parmesan cheese and your sauce is almost ready, give it a taste. If you feel you can take some more spice, add the other half teaspoon (or even more if you want to get that spice level higher!).
- Always cook this creamy sauce at the heat level I’m suggesting in the instructions. For example, I ask you to reduce the heat to low when adding the Cajun spice because I know that in just a few minutes, we’ll be pouring our heavy whipping cream in. If the heat is not at low, your heavy cream may split because of the heat and we don’t want that happening in this gorgeous sauce.
- Always use a fresh block of Parmesan cheese and grate it yourself. Pre-grated or pre-shredded cheese can contain lots of unwanted ingredients and may get all clumpy in your creamy sauce. It just never melts well and doesn’t even taste as good! Fresh Parmesan cheese melts beautifully in our Alfredo sauce and that flavor? Out of this world. This delicious recipe deserves fresh Parmesan cheese ⭐.
- If you’d like a thicker pasta sauce, go ahead and add some cream cheese or even more Parmesan cheese to your creamy sauce. You can also keep cooking your sauce until it thickens up (the heavy cream in the sauce will thicken up as you cook it more). Some dissolve cornstarch in cold water and add the slurry but I don’t suggest this because it’s not necessary here and I also don’t prefer the texture it gives this sauce.
- If you prefer a thinner pasta sauce, add a splash of milk or a splash of pasta water (if you’re making pasta alongside!) or even a little chicken broth to your sauce. You can also add heavy cream but don’t cook it too much or else the sauce will start thickening up again. You may need to add a little more Cajun seasoning so always give your creamy sauce a taste again.
- And always remember that your creamy sauce will thicken up as it cools down so always cook it until it is just a little thinner than how you would like it to be!
- To store this sauce, wait for it to reach room temperature. Then transfer it to an airtight container. Then store the airtight container in the fridge. Your Cajun Alfredo sauce will stay good in the refrigerator for about 3-4 days. Try and have it within 3-4 days for that delish flavor!
- For a party or gathering, just increase the portion size and make this delicious recipe. It’s pretty easy to make for a large crowd. Increase the portion size easily in the Recipe Card below.
FUN SERVING SUGGESTIONS

Go ahead and cook a chicken breast however you like (either using Cajun seasoning powder once again or maybe fry it … however you prefer!). Then top your creamy al dente pasta with the cooked chicken and serve for a deliciously easy weeknight meal.
- You can turn your Cajun Alfredo pasta into some Cajun shrimp Alfredo pasta as well. Just top your creamy pasta with some cooked shrimp (cooked however you like it! With some Cajun or Creole seasonings or even fried) and enjoy that creamy shrimpy goodness. Yum!

Serve with some garlic bread on the side for an absolutely delicious meal.
- You don’t need to stick to just pasta noodles and make fettuccine Alfredo! Next time, go ahead and toss your creamy Cajun Alfredo sauce in some zucchini noodles, mix it into some creamy polenta or maybe even rice!
- Make some white pizza and use this garlicky white sauce as a sauce in the white pizza. Add your favorite toppings and lots of cheese!
- You can top up a juicy steak with this creamy sauce. You can also use it as a dip for any appetizers you make (crispy fried chicken tenders dipped in this Parmesan Alfredo sauce? Incredible!)… Maybe even slather some chicken wings with it… You can serve this Alfredo sauce with literally anything out there.
- Top your favorite sautéed, steamed, boiled or grilled veggies with this creamy flavorful sauce the next time you have veggies.
- Sprinkle some Cajun seasoning and/or parsely and/or any other herbs you prefer in the middle after you’re done serving this sauce for extra flavor and to make it look even prettier ✨.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
What does Cajun Alfredo sauce taste like?
Cajun Alfredo sauce tastes INSANELY good. It has a rich creamy buttery garlic flavor with a touch of earthy spice thanks to the Cajun seasoning and a deep cheesy flavor thanks to the Parmesan cheese.
This is one of those sauces you just won’t be able to get enough of. It’s so good!
How to make Cajun Alfredo sauce thicker?
To make your Cajun Alfredo sauce thicker, add some cream cheese (cream cheese adds to the creaminess!) or even more Parmesan cheese to your sauce.
You can also keep cooking your sauce until it thickens up more (the heavy cream in the sauce will thicken up as the sauce cooks).
Some dissolve cornstarch in cold water and add the slurry but I don’t suggest this because I don’t prefer the texture it gives to our sauce here and I don’t think it’s necessary either.
How to make Cajun Alfredo sauce thinner?
To make your Cajun Alfredo sauce thinner, add a splash of milk or a splash of pasta water (if you’re making pasta alongside!) or even a little chicken broth to your creamy sauce.
You can also add heavy cream but don’t cook it too much or it may start to thicken up again.
You may need to add a little more Cajun seasoning if you add extra liquid so always give your creamy sauce a taste again before serving it.
What is the difference between Cajun Alfredo sauce and traditional Alfredo sauce?
So the traditional Alfredo sauce originated in Italy and is made using loads of butter, Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese and pasta water. That’s all!
Only three ingredients to make a thick creamy rich sauce.
Today, there are lots of versions of Alfredo sauce made around the world using many different ingredients and methods and served in a variety of interesting ways.
The popular American version of Alfredo sauce is made with garlic, butter, heavy cream, Parmesan cheese plus some herbs and spices.
And Cajun Alfredo sauce is a variation of the American version of Alfredo sauce, with the variation being the addition of some Cajun seasoning for an added spicy kick!
That spiciness works super well with a delicate creamy sauce like this one.
One thing is always constant though.
However you make Alfredo sauce, it almost always tastes magical. It’s one of the most delicious sauces in the world.
How to make my Cajun Alfredo sauce spicier?
To make this delicious Cajun Alfredo sauce spicier go ahead and add some more Cajun seasoning for a spicy kick.
You can add some red chili pepper flakes, cayenne pepper or even hot sauce to get that level of spiciness even higher!
How to avoid curdling in this Cajun Alfredo sauce recipe?
To avoid curdling in this Cajun Alfredo sauce recipe, go ahead and follow my instructions carefully. At every go, I let you guys know what to do with the heat so your creamy sauce never splits or curdles.
I make sure you pour in your heavy cream only once the skillet has been over low heat for a little while. This reduces the chances of it splitting.
If you pour your heavy cream into a super hot skillet, your heavy cream may split and curdle.
What kind of pasta pairs best with Cajun Alfredo sauce?
So many different types of pasta go really well here! You can use your favorite pasta too next time you make this recipe.
Go ahead and turn this into a delicious pasta dish by adding some al dente pasta! You can use good old fettuccine (fettuccine Alfredo ❤!) or maybe even linguine, spaghetti, tagliatelle or bucatini, perhaps even penne or rigatoni.
I prefer flat long pasta with this sauce, fettucine Alfredo is delish but I also love it when my pasta has pockets so it can hold all that creamy sauce in. Try such a pasta next time!
How do you achieve the perfect creamy texture in Cajun Alfredo sauce?
To achieve the perfect creamy texture in Cajun Alfredo sauce, make sure you work very carefully with the heat so your sauce never splits. I’ve mentioned the heat you need to maintain in every step so you don’t get a curdled gritty sauce.
Also, make sure you use a block of fresh Parmesan cheese. Don’t use pre-shredded cheese.
Pre-shredded cheese may not melt well, may clump up in your sauce and will just not give that satisfying flavor and texture fresh Parmesan cheese gives.
Also, keep stirring your creamy sauce gently while it cooks and after the addition of every ingredient to make sure everything mixes really well together.
This is a pretty easy recipe so don’t worry. You’ll get a creamy thick lush sauce every time if you follow the instructions perfectly ❤.
What are the different ways to serve this Cajun Alfredo sauce?
Some different ways to serve this Cajun Alfredo sauce are:

How to store leftover Cajun Alfredo sauce?
Go ahead and wait for your Cajun Alfredo sauce to come to room temperature.
Once it comes to room temperature, transfer it to an airtight container. An airtight container is very important here.
Then store the airtight container in the refrigerator.
Your Cajun Alfredo sauce will stay good in the refrigerator for about 3-4 days.
So try and have it within 3-4 days for that delish flavor!
I would suggest against freezing this creamy sauce. That’s because creamy dairy-based sauces don’t really freeze well. If you do choose to freeze it though, go ahead and use freezer-safe containers.
Wait for your sauce to reach room temperature, then transfer it into freezer-safe containers.
Store the freezer-safe containers in the freezer. Your sauce will stay good for 2-3 months.
Make sure you have it within 2-3 months.
Whenever you choose to have your creamy sauce (always within 2-3 months!), move it to the refrigerator the previous night so it thaws, then go ahead and reheat it the next day.
How to reheat this Cajun Alfredo sauce?
The best way to reheat leftovers of Cajun Alfredo sauce in my opinion is over the stove.
Transfer your Cajun Alfredo sauce from the airtight container into a skillet over medium-low heat.
Add a splash of water, heavy cream, milk or chicken broth (I personally prefer heavy cream) to help get your sauce back to life.
Keep stirring gently and make sure nothing sticks to the bottom of the pan.
Cook until the sauce reaches a very gentle simmer and is heated through. This may take a couple of minutes.
Turn off the heat, give your sauce a taste, season accordingly (you may want to add some more Cajun seasoning or salt, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper…) and serve.
You can grate some more Parmesan cheese on top if you like!
For added flavor, you can heat some butter and garlic in the pan before adding your sauce in.

- The level of heat is very important in this Cajun white sauce recipe. To keep our sauce creamy and smoooth, just follow my instructions and increase or decrease the heat accordingly and you’ll have a deliciously creamy Alfredo sauce every time!
- Don’t use salted butter here. Your Cajun spice mix, chicken broth and Parmesan cheese are all pretty salty and salted butter will just add to the saltiness. Oh and since Cajun seasoning blends are pretty salty, you can try and use a low salt Cajun spice mix too.
- Smash your garlic then mince it! Smashing the garlic cloves brings out so much delicious garlic flavor and that works really well with butter.
- Keep the heat at low when pouring your heavy cream in. If the heat is not at low, your heavy cream may split because of the heat and we don’t want that happening.
- Always use a fresh block of Parmesan cheese. Pre-grated or pre-shredded cheese can contain lots of unwanted ingredients and may clump up in your creamy sauce. Fresh Parmesan cheese melts beautifully in our Alfredo sauce and the best part? That flavor. Out of this world.
- If you’d like a thicker pasta sauce, add some cream cheese or even more Parmesan cheese to your sauce. You can also keep cooking your sauce until it thickens up (the heavy cream in the sauce will help thicken it up as it cooks more).
- If you prefer a thinner pasta sauce, add a splash of milk or pasta water (if you’re making pasta alongside!) or even a little chicken broth to your sauce. You can add heavy cream as well but don’t cook it too much or the sauce may start thickening up again. You may need to add a little more Cajun seasoning so always give your creamy sauce a taste again before serving.
- And please remember that your creamy sauce will thicken up as it cools down so always cook it until it’s just a little thinner than how you would like it to be!
- Don’t have store-bought Cajun seasoning? You can substitute with homemade Cajun or maybe even Creole seasonings (this will make the sauce milder too!).
- If you’re making some Cajun seasoning at home, you can choose what seasoning you prefer more of. You can add more onion powder, garlic powder, herbs, salt, cayenne pepper, it’s all your choice!
- When making this Cajun cream sauce, you can start with 1 teaspoon of Cajun spice mix if you’re really sensitive to heat, add the heavy cream and give it a taste. If you want more, you can continue from there.
- If this creamy Alfredo sauce is too spicy for you, you can always add more cream to cut down on the spice.
- If you want this easy Cajun Alfredo sauce recipe to have a higher spice level, add more Cajun seasoning or maybe even hot sauce, red chili pepper flakes, cayenne pepper or paprika for a spicy kick. Be careful with the level of spiciness 🔥!
- For a lighter healthier version, you can substitute heavy cream with half and half or light cream.
- You can also use cream cheese instead of heavy cream for even more thick creaminess. Cream cheese helps thicken up your sauce too.
- Go ahead and add any extra cheese you like. I’ve added Parmesan cheese but you can use Romano, Pecorino Romano… maybe Gruyere?
- To make some dairy-free Cajun Alfredo sauce, use a little extra oil instead of butter, use coconut milk or coconut cream instead of heavy cream and use vegan or dairy-free Parmesan cheese.
- Go ahead and use some onions and caramelize them. This will give your cream sauce a deliciously sweet nutty flavor 😍.
- Add some lemon zest to your creamy sauce for some fresh flavor.
- You can add some veggies to this beloved flourless Alfredo sauce too such as maybe broccoli or bell peppers (bell peppers add a lovely flavor here). You can add some sundried tomatoes as well!
- Make it a Cajun chicken Alfredo recipe! Just season each chicken breast. Gently pan fry the chicken breasts in the skillet, remove and make the sauce in the same pan (all that extra flavor!). Add the cooked chicken breasts back to the sauce towards the end and serve. You can do the same with shrimp, sausage, fish or veggies, whatever you like!
- Don’t add the Cajun spices and turn this into a traditional Alfredo sauce. Add some salt and black pepper and serve for a delicious classic Alfredo sauce.
