WHY YOU WILL LOVE THIS RECIPE
Oh my GOODNESS do I have a treat for you today- this 3 ingredient fudge 💃🏻!
You guys loved my two ingredient peanut butter fudge and I’m back with another delicious fudge this holiday season, just for YOU.
This homemade fudge is made with that classic combination of buttery peanut butter and smooth chocolate and oh my goodness does it taste incredible.
Once you bite into that fudge cube, you’ll get hit with the rich nutty flavor of peanut butter and the sweet chocolatey flavor of chocolate. Those flavors of sweet and salty will make you so happy (I mean, you know how AMAZING that combination of peanut butter and chocolate is!).
And the texture? What do I even say?! This sweet treat has one of the most pleasing textures ever. Creamy and melt in the mouth with the slightest chew to it… this buttery fudge is like a dream 💖.
It’s the best dessert ever. This creamy fudge makes the perfect treat. And hey, here are a few more reasons why you’ll love it-
- This easy fudge recipe uses ONLY 3 simple ingredients. This is the best part about this recipe for me. These simple ingredients are also pantry staples that you probably have at home already (and if you don’t, you’ll find them at the grocery store without a problem!).
- Oh and this peanut butter fudge is super easy to make as well! It’s got just a few simple steps and doesn’t need a candy thermometer or double boiler like classic fudge so yay 💃🏻.
- Your fudge also takes about less than 5 minutes to mix together, absolutely incredible if you have a sweet tooth and don’t want to put in any extra effort.
- Oh and this easy recipe gives you an incredibly delicious fudge that’s been tested loads of times in our kitchen. This creamy fudge also makes a great gift or even a holiday gift if it’s that time of year (holiday season ❤)! You can make it for parties or special occasions too (it doesn’t take much time getting it all together at all!). You can also just make it as a cozy treat, yum.
This buttery fudge with its deliciously creamy texture is one of our most favorite recipes right now (and it’s just as incredible as traditional fudge). It’s perfect for any occasion!
I hope you love this 3-ingredient fudge recipe as much as we do, it’s the best ❤.

This easy chocolate fudge recipe with peanut butter is the perfect treat. It’s made with super simple ingredients and is the best sweet treat especially if you’ve got a sweet tooth.
This is one of our favorite fudge recipes right now and it comes out amazing every single time (no double boiler or candy thermometer needed like in a classic fudge 💃🏻).

To make this 3 ingredient fudge, we need:
- Sweetened condensed milk- Sweetened condensed milk is an absolutely important ingredient in this homemade fudge recipe. It makes our chocolate peanut butter fudge sweet, soft and gives it the most incredible creamy texture too. It makes our gluten free fudge deliciously fudgy and helps it firm up as well. I’ve tested this recipe with a few other ingredients but nothing beats sweetened condensed milk.
- Peanut butter- Peanut butter ❤! Ah, I love it so much. I usually use regular smooth peanut butter in this easy fudge recipe for a nice creamy fudge. Go ahead and use a brand of peanut butter you enjoy the taste of. You can use chunky peanut butter too. I don’t suggest you use natural peanut butter here.
- Chocolate chips- Ah chocolate, the absolute best thing ever ✨. I usually use semi-sweet chocolate chips in this 3-ingredient fudge recipe. You can use milk chocolate chips, white chocolate chips or dark chocolate chips, even a mix of them here! The important thing is to use some high-quality chocolate for the best flavor. Chocolate chips work perfectly well and you don’t need cocoa powder. You can also try using baking chocolate, melting wafers, candy melts or almond bark.

HOW TO MAKE THE BEST 3 INGREDIENT FUDGE [Step-by-Step Recipe Instructions with Photos]
Please keep in mind that I go into lots of detail in all my recipes so you get to know all the super important tips and tricks when it comes to making a particular recipe. I always want you to make the BEST of whatever you’re cooking ❤.
STEP 1: GET EVERYTHING READY
So there’s not much to get ready here but I love being prepared!
First go ahead and divide the condensed milk equally into two different bowls.

Then take an 8×8 inch baking dish. You can use a bigger pan if you want thinner fudge.
Line the baking dish with parchment paper or wax paper (or even aluminium foil or plastic wrap). It’s best to leave some parchment paper hanging outside your baking dish so you can just pick the parchment paper up and take your fudge out once it’s ready.
You can also spray some non-stick cooking spray and then place the parchment paper so it sticks well.

STEP 2: MAKE THE CHOCOLATE FUDGE
Time to make our easy fudge recipe without a candy thermometer and double boiler 💃🏻.
In a skillet or saucepan over low heat (not medium heat), add the chocolate chips and half the condensed milk. I prefer using a skillet here, more area to work with.

Gently stir (I use a spatula here) for about a minute to a minute and a half until half the chocolate chips mostly melt and take it off the heat.
Your chocolate mixture will not be completely smooth at this point and that’s okay. Just keep stirring and those chocolate chips will melt in the residual heat giving you a smooth mixture.

Pour chocolate mixture into the parchment paper prepared pan and spread it. Work fast here because your chocolate mixture may start solidifying soon.

STEP 3: MAKE THE PEANUT BUTTER FUDGE
Take the same skillet or saucepan (scrape off any extra chocolate if there’s too much using your spatula, wash it or clean it with a tissue if needed. Just a little chocolate in the pan is okay). You can use another skillet or saucepan too.
Now over low heat, add in your peanut butter.

Let it heat over low heat for about 2 to 4 minutes or until it thins out. Give your peanut butter a gentle stir with your spatula while it heats. Spread it around so it thins out faster.
Then pour in the remaining other half sweetened condensed milk and give everything a good stir to mix it all well. Please don’t mix vigorously here, we don’t want to overmix!

Stir every couple of seconds and let the peanut butter mixture heat for about 30 seconds to a minute until it thickens up just a little and has the consistency of very thick caramel and switch off the heat (keep a close eye because things can burn fast here).

Pour the peanut butter mixture and spread it over the chocolate mixture in the parchment paper lined pan. Using a spatula to scrape everything off along with a ladle helps so much here! I use the rubber spatula to scrape the fudge mixture from the pan. I then scrape the fudge filled spatula over the ladle to get it into the lined dish. This method helps with cleaning the cooking pan too (no pieces of sticky fudge to worry about)!

Now get ready quick with a butter knife.
STEP 4: SWIRL AND WAIT
Now this is optional but with the butter knife, gently swirl through your peanut butter and chocolate layers. We want some pretty swirls here! Work fast because everything will start solidifying soon. This step is optional and you can leave your mixtures as they are which will give you a solid peanut butter layer over a chocolate layer.

Now you can use your spatula to smoothen the top of your fudge mixture a little. It won’t be completely smooth and will smoothen up as it cools in the fridge so don’t worry.

Now wait until your fudge mixture comes to room temperature.
Once your fudge mixture comes to room temperature, pop the pan into the fridge for about 2 to 2 and a half hours or even overnight. Now is the hardest part, waiting!
2 hours will make your fudge soft and melt in the mouth while 2 and a half hours or more will make it your fudge firmer but still melt in the mouth.
STEP 5: GET YOUR FUDGE OUT
Once your fudge is done chilling in the fridge, get it out! Our fudge has probably set by now 😍.

Gently lift the parchment paper out of the pan and place it on a cutting board.
Now’s the time to slice your homemade fudge into squares (a size you prefer).
The trick to make things easy here is by using warm sharp knife. This will give us a clean cut fudge. Just run your sharp knife under warm water for a few seconds (or dip it in a bowl of hot water). Then wipe the knife with a paper towel and get to slicing your fudge.

Keep repeating the process of warming your knife every few minutes while slicing your fudge.
And now the best part, try a fudge cube. Enjoy that buttery chewy goodness… those flavors of peanut butter and chocolate melting in your mouth… delicious. Such a perfect treat and you made it all yourself ❤.
Hey you, I really hope you love this 3 Ingredient Fudge as much as I do!
If you do, I would appreciate a star rating SO much (you can rate this recipe right below or from the Recipe Card 💖).

Notes ✍🏼
- Use good quality ingredients! Since this easy fudge recipe uses very few simple ingredients, it’s important to use good quality ingredients you enjoy the taste of for the best fudge.
- Use crunchy peanut butter for a delish crunch in this easy recipe. The texture won’t be as creamy but it’ll still taste wonderful!
- If you don’t want to swirl your peanut butter and chocolate mixture, you can just skip the swirling stage! This will give you two solid blocks of fudge and that looks pretty cool too!
- You can also mix the peanut butter and chocolate mixture together completely to have a gluten free fudge that tastes of both chocolate and peanut butter.
- You can add some vanilla extract to this 3 ingredient chocolate fudge with peanut butter too! Vanilla extract will enhance those chocolate peanut butter flavors. You can add some ground cinnamon or cardamom for a warm flavor too.
- Or mix in some chopped nuts, mini marshmallows, shredded coconut, chocolate chips, dried fruit, or whatever you prefer into the fudge mixture when making this chocolate and peanut butter fudge.
- It’s so much easier to slice your fudge when it’s cold. Warm or room temperature isn’t fun to cut!
- To store this fudge, you need an airtight container or some plastic wrap. This chocolate and peanut butter fudge stays good for a couple of days in an airtight container at room temperature. To make it stay good for about 2 to 3 weeks, store the fudge in an airtight container in the fridge or wrap the dish with some plastic wrap and store it in the fridge.
- You can freeze this fudge too. Just place it in a freezer safe airtight container but place parchment paper between each fudge cube so they don’t stick together. You can also freeze your fudge cubes for about an hour with parchment paper between them then transfer those fudge cubes to a large freezer bag, this way they won’t stick to one another. Your fudge will stay good frozen for about 3 months.

CAN YOU REALLY MAKE CHOCOLATE PEANUT BUTTER FUDGE WITH ONLY 3 INGREDIENTS?
Yes, you can make this chocolate peanut butter fudge with only 3 ingredients and in only a few simple steps too!
By now, I’m sure you know just how much I love taking up the challenge of making dishes with few ingredients (my 4 Ingredient Banana Bread Recipe and 3 Ingredient Sugar Cookies Recipe are just a few examples). I love an easy treat that uses only a handful of ingredients.
So yep, I set out on the same challenge with this 3 ingredient fudge too!
I’ve made Peanut Butter Fudge with Condensed Milk loads of times before but adding chocolate to the mix was a little tricky for me. I was afraid it wouldn’t melt and set well when mixed with condensed milk (many other recipes use vegetable oil to help).
But I had to stick to 3 ingredients and I had no choice! So I went ahead and tried melting the chocolate in condensed milk.
And well, to my surprise, things worked out really well.
The chocolate melted perfectly and set well too! Add our peanut butter fudge to the mix and well, there you have it. I discovered you really can make this 5 minute fudge with only 3 ingredients!
It’s important to use good quality ingredients when making recipes with such few ingredients. That’s because those few ingredients give us all the flavor! Now go ahead and enjoy this last minute treat (it’s only 5 minutes of prep time 💃🏻).

FUN SERVING SUGGESTIONS
I can’t wait for you to try this easy recipe and I just know it’ll become one of your most favorite fudge recipes ❤.
It’s just such a delicious treat and with those two different flavors of chocolate and peanut butter? Oh it’s the best dessert ever!
Chocolate and peanut butter is one of those unique flavor combinations that gives us the most amazing fun flavor.
And hey, the best part is that this fudge tastes incredible on its own! But you can do so much with it too. Here are a few ideas-
- This homemade fudge is one of my favorite recipes because it tastes amazing cold as well as at room temperature. Cold fudge will be firm but buttery once you bite into it while room temperature fudge will be soft, gooey and amazing. It’s all your choice!
- You can sprinkle some chopped nuts like peanuts, almonds, walnuts, pistachios and pecans on top of the fudge for a crunchy creamy nutty bite and fun flavor.
- You can sprinkle a little bit of sea salt over your homemade chocolate fudge with peanut butter as well. You can also top your fudge up with chocolate ganache, mini marshmallows, crushed cookies, jelly, frosting, powdered sugar, sprinkles, white chocolate chips, peanut butter chips, chocolate chips, chocolate sprinkles, chocolate shavings, cocoa powder, chopped Reese’s cups and so much more!
- If you’re making this 3 ingredient chocolate fudge recipe with peanut butter for a special party or on a holiday, go ahead and sprinkle it with sprinkles matching that holiday or party (an example is blue or pink sprinkles for a gender reveal party ❤).
- Got a sweet tooth or feeling indulgent? Top this easy chocolate fudge recipe with peanut butter with your favorite cookie such as a soft Soft Bake Chocolate Chip Cookies. You can serve it along with a slice of Chocolate Cake (get that chocolate fix in!) or even with some ice cream (so many different flavors of ice cream work here).
- Serve this soft fudge with some Smooth Maple Syrup Coffee or with this creamy Royal Milk Tea for a cozy comforting easy treat. Perhaps even with some hot chocolate (check out our delicious Dalgona Chocolate Recipe!).
- This sweet treat makes a great gift! If you’re throwing holiday parties or love giving gifts to people who mean the world to you, go ahead and cut this fudge into individual pieces (small squares). Wrap the individual pieces in some wax paper. You can twist the ends making them look like candy wrappers or you can fold the wax paper and tie it with a tiny ribbon making it look like a small gift. This is the perfect gift for special occasions ❤.
This is the best chocolate fudge with peanut butter and it’s made with super simple ingredients without a complex cooking process like old-fashioned fudge. It tastes incredible and I love it. It’s one of those new recipes you need to try if you haven’t yet!

TIPS TO MAKE THE BEST 3 INGREDIENT FUDGE EVERY SINGLE TIME
This 3-ingredient fudge recipe makes the perfect treat! This easy dessert has literally less than 5 minutes of prep time and doesn’t need a candy thermometer either.
This is a delicious treat but here are a few tips to make sure it comes out awesome every single time-
- Use good quality ingredients! Since this easy fudge recipe uses very few simple ingredients, it’s important to use good quality ingredients you enjoy the taste of for the best fudge.
- Please line your pan with parchment paper. This is absolutely necessary. It’ll help you get that fudge out once it sets plus it makes clean up easy too!
- If you don’t have parchment paper, you can use maybe plastic wrap, wax paper or aluminium foil.
- Keep a close check on your peanut butter and condensed milk as well as your chocolate chips and condensed milk when they’re heating over the stove. We may not need a candy thermometer like when making old-fashioned fudge but our fudge mixture can burn pretty quick so just keep a close eye on it.
- Please be patient and leave your homemade chocolate fudge with peanut butter to set for 2 to 2 and a half hours (or more) once it reaches room temperature.
- Slice your homemade fudge however you like. How big or small you prefer your fudge cubes is all your choice.
- It’s so much easier to slice your fudge when it’s cold. Warm or room temperature fudge isn’t fun to cut!
- Don’t worry if you leave this easy treat in the fridge for a couple of days. I’ve left mine in the fridge for a few days but it didn’t get brittle or super hard. It became firmer on the outside but it was still soft and buttery on the inside. This depends on your fridge of course.
- To store this easy recipe, you need an airtight container or some plastic wrap. This 3 ingredient chocolate fudge recipe with peanut butter stays good for a couple of days if you’re keeping it outside in an airtight container at room temperature. To make it stay good for about 2 to 3 weeks, store the fudge in an airtight container in the fridge or wrap the dish with some plastic wrap and store it in the refrigerator.
- You can turn this 3 ingredient chocolate fudge recipe into microwave fudge too! Just mix half the condensed milk and chocolate chips and microwave for about a minute or so stirring in 20 second intervals until nice and smooth. Then pour it into the lined baking dish. Then add your peanut butter to a large microwave-safe bowl. Heat it in 20 second intervals, stirring in between every 20 seconds until it has thinned out. Then pour in the condensed milk. Give everything a gentle stir and pop it in the microwave for another 20 seconds. Give the fudge mixture another good stir. It should be thick-ish. Then pour it over the chocolate and follow the instructions as given!
This is one easy fudge recipe made with literal pantry staples. I hope you love this recipe and I’m sure you will 😉. I mean, chocolate and peanut butter is just one of those unique flavor combinations that no one can say no to.

This quick treat is also done over the stove making things easy 💃🏻. It’s not a microwave fudge so you don’t need a large microwave-safe bowl to make it.
This easy fudge recipe also doesn’t need a candy thermometer or double boiler like classic fudge. It’s the best chocolate fudge with peanut butter and there’s so much you can do with it (that smooth chocolate and peanut butter 😍!). Here are a few ideas-

- You can use semi-sweet chocolate chips like me but hey, milk chocolate chips, white chocolate chips or dark chocolate chips or even a mix of them work well here! It’s best to use high-quality chocolate. Chocolate chips work perfectly well here and you don’t need cocoa powder. You can also try using baking chocolate, melting wafers, candy melts or almond bark.

- If you don’t want to swirl your peanut butter and chocolate mixture, you can go ahead and skip the swirling stage! This will give you two solid blocks of fudge and that looks pretty cool too!

- I LOVE this creamy fudge as it is but you can add some toppings to it too! You can top this homemade fudge with my favorite, chopped salted peanuts. You can add other nuts on top of the fudge too if you like such as chopped almonds, pecans, walnuts or pistachios!
- You can top your fudge with so many other ingredients as well such as sea salt flakes (sea salt is the best), chocolate sprinkles, chocolate shavings, chopped Reese’s cups, peanut butter chips, milk, dark or white chocolate chips, chocolate ganache, sprinkles according to the time of year (makes a perfect holiday gift for holiday season too or a great gift just in general as well)… So many options!

- You can try making this fudge vegan too! To make this fudge vegan, try and use vegan condensed milk and vegan chocolate chips. I haven’t tried it this way yet though!
- You can turn this chocolate peanut butter fudge into microwave fudge as well! Just mix half the condensed milk and chocolate chips and microwave for about a minute or so stirring in 20 second intervals until smooth and then pour it into the lined baking dish.
